# AuctionAmigo

> AuctionAmigo (https://auctionamigo.com/) is the free promotion kit for auction websites built on Auctify. A seller pastes the address of their auction site and gets four things made from their own lots: a widget for their website, images for social posts, a printable poster with QR lot cards, and an email banner. No account, no password, no cost. Run by Auctify B.V. (Netherlands, KvK 92337139), the company behind the Auctify auction site builder (https://auctify.com/) and AuctionsNearMe (https://auctionsnearme.com/).

## Key facts

- **What it is:** a promotion kit, not an auction platform. Bidding always happens on the seller's own Auctify auction site; every piece links there.
- **Who it is for:** anyone who runs an auction site built on Auctify (on a myauctify.com address or on their own domain), including sites in their free trial.
- **Price:** free, included with every Auctify site. No account or login on AuctionAmigo.
- **Input:** the address of the auction site. Only public data is read: lot titles, photos, current price, number of bids, opening and closing times. A site in private mode is not shown.
- **Which lots:** lots open for bidding now and lots that are listed but not open yet (forward auctions; up to 24). Closed and sold lots, and the sample lots a new site starts with, are never shown.
- **Languages:** 20. Everything the seller's audience sees (widget, images, poster, banner) is written in the language of the auction site, with dates in each lot's own time zone. The page itself: English, Indonesian, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Hungarian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Finnish, Swedish, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
- **Privacy:** the widget sets no cookies, stores nothing, loads no fonts and no trackers. The AuctionAmigo page itself uses no cookies and no analytics scripts.

## The four pieces

- **Website widget:** one line of code (`<script async src="https://auctionamigo.com/w.js" data-site="…">`). Four shapes: floating (corner of every page), horizontal, vertical, skyscraper. Shows live price, bid count and a countdown; upcoming lots show a countdown to their opening. Colour, corner radius and light or dark background are set with attributes. It disappears by itself when the site has nothing open and nothing coming up.
- **Post images:** JPEG, square 1080 × 1080 and story 1080 × 1920, one for the whole sale and one per lot, for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. They state when bidding closes or opens and the site's address, never a price, so they stay true after posting.
- **Print kit:** an A4 sale poster and lot cards (four to a sheet), each with a QR code that opens the sale or the lot. Printed from the seller's own browser.
- **Email banner:** a PNG (1200 × 280, shown 600 wide) with a link, for newsletters, email signatures and site builders that refuse scripts. It is redrawn every few minutes, so an email sent last week still shows the current lot count and closing day.

## How to use it

1. Open https://auctionamigo.com/ (or "Promote your auction" in the Auctify site's dashboard, which opens it with the address filled in).
2. Paste the auction site's address, for example `your-sale.myauctify.com`.
3. Pick a shape and a colour; copy the line of code, download the images, or open the print kit.
